The Police is a law enforcement vehicle featured in almost every driving game made by Xform.

Design

The Police is based on the second-generation 1998-2011 Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptor. The vehicle returns in Hammer 2 - Reloaded and Operation Desert Road, but is changed to be a Mercedes-Benz E-Class [W124].

Overview & Performance

Burnin' Rubber 4

The Police appears in Burnin' Rubber 4 and is unlocked upon completing the "Police Battle" special mission in The City area.

Its top speed is above average and armor is also quite decent, making it a valid competitor against the other opponents.

It has a stock top speed of 189 mph. When maxed the engine upgraded, it can reach a top speed of 203 mph.

It can also be seen as a traffic vehicle with a machine gun on the roof, that will use against the player if he shoots or buffers it.

Redline Rumble Revolution

The Police appears in Redline Rumble Revolution, more precisely, in the last three races.

If the player will not hide under a truck's trailer during pursuit for a while, some police cars will appear in the highway, trying to stop the player.

Traffic Slam 2: Detonation

The Police appears in Traffic Slam 2: Detonation as a traffic vehicle.

Downtown Drift

The Police Car appears in Downtown Drift and can be purchased for $15,000. It is a very responsive and grippy car despite its size, accompanied by a moderate top speed of 224 km/h.

The secret hidden upgrade package will increase 5% of its speed.

The Police appears in Traffic Slam 3 as a traffic vehicle.

Burnin' Rubber 5 and HD

The Police appears in Burnin' Rubber 5 and is unlocked upon completing the "One Four Eight" Team VS challenge.

The Police features a good armor, making it resistant from shoots and impacts. However, it also features a good slightly top speed compared to the Taxi.

It has a stock top speed of 109 mph without its engine upgrades. When fully upgraded, it can reach a top speed of 126 mph.

It also appears as a parked vehicle in some tracks.

The Police appears in Super Hammer as a parked vehicle.

The Police appears in Burnin' Rubber: Shift and has the same role from Redline Rumble Revolution.

The Police appears in Burnin' Rubber HTML5 as a traffic vehicle.

Hammer 2 - Reloaded

The Police appears in Hammer 2 - Reloaded and it is first drivable in the Parking Garage Mayhem mission.

Operation Desert Road

The Police appears in Operation Desert Road and can be purchased for 150 coins.

Burnin' Rubber: Cartapult

The Police appears in Burnin' Rubber: Cartapult. When launching the vehicle, the police lights get turned on.

It also appears as a traffic vehicle.

Police Pursuit 2

The Police appears in Police Pursuit 2 and is available at the beginning. It is located in one of the ships at the docks.

Its speed is average and the armor is moderate, but it doesn't have a nitro boost. The handling is comparable to the one of the Charger though.

Trivia

  • The Police is one of the first emergency and law enforcement vehicles in Xform's driving games.
  • The Police is featured in the game's cover art of the original version of Burnin' Rubber 4.
  • Burnin' Rubber 4 and Downtown Drift are the only two games where the player can change the paint skin colors on the Police.
  • In the original release of Burnin' Rubber 4, the Police did not equip any weapon on the roof.
