Welcome to the unofficial Xform Games Wiki created by the fans of Xform, where you can learn more about the company and everything about it. This page gives you an overview, but if you want to look at all kinds of pages about the content in the games Xform made, click here.
The wiki was founded by Comrade on March 13, 2016, later given almost full control to Lumius on November 23, 2018. Other honorable mentions are MacoixIT, RayHwang1771, Gagarsa05, M.B, Harma22, Enders200, 1sMiku for their contributions and everyone else who has ever contributed in one way or another.
Information and footage is not only found by the writers mentioned above, but sometimes it is also outsourced and found somewhere else, most notably in gameplay material found on channels like Burnin' Rubber, Mylemium1060, and GameplaySP123.
Rules
While the writers are doing their best to add more knowledge to the wiki, some of us are limited in our time, motivation and resources. And while content from Xform's driving games such as Burnin' Rubber, Traffic Slam, and Rally Point has been mostly covered, there is still a lot left to cover from the other games Xform made.
If you want to help us out, you are absolutely welcome to do so, however, the wiki has been strictly following individual visual formats for each type of pages, either it is a game, a vehicle, a challenge, or anything else. We would like to keep having it this way, to keep everything more organized and clean-looking.
- Do not unfoundedly remove information to your liking and avoid adding false or unconfirmed information.
- Make sure to use informative and objective language, avoid using ''You'' and use ''The player'' instead, avoid including opinions into the main sections of a page, they may be put in the Trivia section, at best.
- Apply proper spelling and grammar to all pages that are created, and revise already existing pages. In case, there is any need to.
- A new page, depending on what category it belongs into, may follow the same visual formation as the other pages of the category.
- If a visual formation is set to change even by a small difference for any reason, the change may be applied to all the other pages with the same format as well.
- Avoid adding pictures of modifications for any game onto any pages, as this is not a wiki for unapproved modifications of any sort.
Patreon
Back in 2017, web games began to not be playable anymore due to unsupported plugins. Xform's games such as Burnin' Rubber 4 which used to be hosted on sites such as Shockwave.com or any other game were affected as well.
Then on January 15, 2019, Xform Games launched a Patreon campaign where the community can donate a specific amount of money every month. There are many membership levels, from $1 per month up to $100 per month. Depending on how much money is being donated, the user also gets benefits such as getting all games for free, credits, etc.
The money which the developers earn is being used to make standalones out of old browser games that are not playable anymore in the browser. Since the launch, Xform has made way more and regularly standalones out of old browser games, all available for money on Itch.io or for free with ads and less performance on Crazy Games and other portals.
History
Early days
Xform was founded in 2004 by two guys that met in the high school of art university in Utrecht, which are Pieter Albers and Diederik Groesbeek. Creative old-school guys with a love for classic action games that they played on their Commodore Amiga. And so they set out to create these kinds of action games themselves, but in a 3D fashion.
Their first game together was a third-person shooter called ''The Hammer''. An ambitious attempt to bring Grand Theft Auto III to the browser. Although groundbreaking at the time, they struggled at first, the optimization was not the best. They had to work long hours and do simpler non 3D games for clients to make ends meet.
Growing together
Over the years the team grew, and so did their portfolio of games. They created games like Burnin' Rubber, Traffic Slam, Rally Point, and brought in lots of new people to the team. Their games received a lot of recognition and appreciation especially from little kids and teenagers, allowing Xform to establish a loyal community which would later find themselves on the official discord server of the company.
They kept hiring more people and bringing out more games, most notably games like Go Kart Go! Ultra!, Rally Point 4, or Rhino Rush Stampede which were successful. They also brought their games to the mobile market. such as Super Hammer, Burnin' Rubber: Crash n' Burn, Rally Point 5, but also kids games like Wungi Pirates, Wungi Knights, and Kitty Cats. They managed to build up quite a portfolio, but these releases did not bring them fame or fortune. As a result, they were put aside and later taken down.
Sorting things out
Over the last couple of years Xform shrunk down again and took some time to rethink their strategy. Less workers, meaning less costs but also less games and efficiency. Compared to previous years, the years to come would be years of little to no new games. Instead they would go on another path, extending Man Or Monster and remastering Burnin' Rubber 5 for example. They also started publishing standalone versions of their games, such as Burnin' Rubber 3 and 4, as well as others that are being saved from extinction from the world of web games.
However, as the budget shrunk as well, other than standalones or remade versions of existing games, the lack of new games that were actually original became more noticeable in the past few years, Xform has been recycling assets from previous games more than ever before, great examples are games like World Soccer 2018, Burnin' Rubber: Cartapult, or Zombie Choppa, which has been met with criticism.
The future
As a result, they opened a Patreon site, where people can donate money to Xform so that on one hand, they can create more standalone versions or remaster existing games, but also on the other hand so that future games will have less recycled assets, which has seemingly worked with positive reviews, noticing games like Police Pursuit 2 or Race Day Rampage. And Burnin' Rubber 6 will also be financed with the money from Patreon that they're getting.

Projects
Published projects
This chart shows all projects that were released at some point throughout the history of Xform as a game company. This does not include projects before it was an official development studio, not to mention that there is little to no information about them anyway.
Republished projects
This chart shows all projects that were released again as a part of Xform's plan to save the games they made in the past from not being playable anymore. This is mostly financed with the help of the Patrons, who donate a specific amount of money to Xform every month, depending on which subscription plan they choose.
Projects written in Adobe Director or Flash do not get rewritten from scratch in Unity WebGL, which would allow them to be put on the web for free. As a result, they are only available as paid standalones. Projects written in Unity Web instead are easily brought over to Unity WebGL, allowing them to be free web games, along as paid standalones.
